NBA This Season (2022-23)
The 2022–23 is the 77th season of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The season began on October 18, 2022, and is scheduled to end on April 9, 2023. The All-Star Game of NBA 2023 is set to be played on February 19, 2023, at Vivint Arena in Salt Lake City. Then follow playoffs are scheduled to begin on April 15, 2023, and Finals to be set on june 2023.
The 77th season, which comprises 82 games per team, will kick off on Tuesday, 18 OCT 2022, and conclude on Sunday, 9 April 2023. The Play-In Tournament will take place from Tuesday, 11 April to Friday, 14 April. The 2023 NBA Playoffs presented by Google Pixel starts on Saturday, 15 April. Game 1 of the NBA 2023 Finals ,presented by YouTube TV, is scheduled to be played on Thursday, June 1.
The Golden State Warriors, represented by Stephen Curry, will begin the defence of their title when the new season starts on Tuesday October 18.

Election Day
The NBA and its teams will continue to encourage fans to make a plan to vote and participate in the civic process as Election Day approaches.
What’s new this season, just before the election day all 30 teams will play on Monday , Nov. 7 during which NBA will help promote voter to participate, share important resources and thoughts from voting organizations and highlight the quality work of teams in their respective markets. Taking this in mind, no NBA games have been scheduled for Election Day on Tuesday, Nov. 8.
NBA Rivals Weeks
In the 2022-2023 NBA regular season , The Classic rivalries will feature 11 games start Jan 24 to Jan 28 2023, its first-ever NBA Rivals Week. According to the league, NBA Rivals week will feature all 11 nationally televised games on TNT, ESPN, ABC and NBA TV .
Media
ESPN will show Wednesday and Friday night games for most part of the season and some games on selected Sunday nights at the second half of the season. While ABC to air NBA Saturday Primetime on eight selected Saturdays, and NBA Showcase on three selected Sundays in the form of doubleheaders
NT will air all Tuesday games this season and some Thursday games during the second half of the season. NBA TV will show selected games not broadcast on ABC, ESPN, or TNT, mostly on Mondays throughout the season and Thursdays games in the first half of the season.
Christmas Games
There are 5 games on Christmas day . ESPN and ABC will simulcast all of them for the first time. They will try to compete with NFL Christmas Day games for viewers. Also the NFL planning its tripleheader for the first time on that day.
With TNT and NBA TV, Four games will be held on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, each airing two of them.
